Mother Terasa Matric. Hr. Sec. School celebrated Diwali on October 17, 2025, with vibrant cultural events, including dances, songs, and a captivating Naragasuran drama by students. A cash distribution ceremony was held as a token of love and gratitude from students to the housekeeping, drivers, and sanitary staff. The Principal’s inspiring message highlighted the true spirit of Diwali—sharing, caring, and spreading light through kindness.

Quarterly Exam Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM) 11th Oct 2025

The Parent Teacher Meeting for the Quarterly Examination was conducted to review the academic progress of students from Classes LKG to IX. Parents actively participated and interacted with teachers to understand their wards’ strengths and areas for improvement. The session fostered collaboration between parents and teachers to ensure holistic growth and academic excellence.

Vijayadashami Admission Ceremony 02nd Oct 2025

Mother Terasa School celebrated the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami Admissions with devotion and tradition. Our respected Chairman Sir Thiru.R.C.Uthayakumar, our Eminent MLA & Former Minister Dr. C. Vijayabaskar, and the honourable family members graced the ceremony, presiding over the sacred rituals and showering their heartfelt blessings on the young learners beginning their academic journey.
The day was marked with Saraswati Pooja and the traditional Vidyarambham (Aksara Abhyasam) ritual, where children were initiated into learning through the symbolic practice of writing their first letters on grains. Parents and students joyfully took part in the ceremony, cherishing this memorable beginning of their child’s educational path at Mother Terasa School.
This blessed occasion truly reflected the values of culture, tradition, and learning that our institution stands for.

We are proud to announce that R.D. Udhayasri of Class XI has brought laurels to our institution by winning Third Prize in the Essay Writing Competition organized by Hridhaya Heart Health Centre on the occasion of World Health Day.

Teachers’ Day Celebration with Founder’s Day Prize Distribution - 05th September 2025

As part of our Teachers’ Day function, our Chairman Sir proudly distributed prizes worth ₹10,000, sponsored by our Hon’ble Minister, to the talented students who performed in our Founder’s Day cultural events, beautifully disguised as MGR and Jayalalitha. Our school celebrated Teachers’ Day with great joy and gratitude in the gracious presence of our Chairman Sir and Additional Director. The event began with a vibrant students’ cultural programme, followed by a warm gift presentation to our beloved teachers. A special highlight was the lively teachers’ ramp walk and fun games, which brought smiles and laughter all around. Young motivational speaker Master Mohith inspired the gathering with his thoughtful words. Our school celebrated Onam with joy and cultural spirit. Students showcased songs, dances, and speeches, while the highlight was a graceful dance by our teachers, which delighted everyone. The colorful Pookalam and festive atmosphere made the day truly memorable.

KG Purple Day Celebration - 29th August 2025

Our Kindergarten children celebrated Purple Day with great joy and excitement. The day was filled with vibrant shades of purple, symbolizing creativity, peace, and harmony. Tiny tots came dressed in beautiful purple costumes, carrying attractive purple objects, which added more charm to the celebration.
To make the day more meaningful, various fun-filled activities and events were organized:
*Show & Tell* : Children confidently spoke about the purple objects they brought.
*Rhymes & Songs* : Little voices sang melodious purple-themed rhymes with enthusiasm.
*Art & Craft:* Kids enjoyed making creative craftwork using purple shades.

*Group Dance:* Children performed lively dances dressed in purple, spreading cheer all around.
*Photo Session:* Smiling faces were captured in a colourful purple-themed photo session.
The celebration not only created a joyful learning environment but also helped our little ones recognize the colour purple in an engaging way. It was truly a memorable and fun-filled day for our KG stars.

Founder’s Day Celebration - 26th August 2025

Our school celebrated Founder’s Day with great joy and reverence, marking it as a memorable and inspiring occasion. The celebration was graced by the presence of our Honourable Ex-Minister, Thiru. Vijay Baskar Sir, whose participation added prestige to the event.
A special honouring moment took place where our beloved Founder was felicitated with a token of love, reflecting the deep respect and gratitude of the school community . The Principal and staff expressed their happiness and pride at the felicitation, making the day even more meaningful.

The highlight of the celebration was the creative participation of our students, who came dressed up as 79 look-alikes of MGR and Jayalalitha, extending their heartfelt wishes to our Founder. The colourful portrayal was admired and appreciated by all.
Another proud moment came when our little speaker, Master Mohith of Class IV, delivered a wonderful speech that touched everyone’s hearts. In recognition of his talent, he was honoured with a cash prize from our Founder and Vijay Baskar Sir.
To add to the joy, our Honourable Minister Sir awarded a cash prize of Rs.10,000 to our school students, appreciating their efforts and enthusiastic performances.
The entire day was filled with happiness, respect, and gratitude, making it a remarkable Founder’s Day celebration to be cherished by the school community.

Independence Day Celebration - 15th August 2025

The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at our school on 15th August 2025. The celebration began with the arrival of our Founder and Chairman, who was warmly welcomed by the staff and students. The highlight of the day was the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem that echoed the spirit of unity and freedom. Our Founder delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of discipline, hard work, and dedication in nation-building. This was followed by our Principal’s address, who motivated the students to uphold the values of freedom and responsibility in their lives.

The celebration was further enriched with a vibrant cultural programme showcasing the talents of our students. They performed patriotic songs, skits, and dances, evoking a deep sense of pride and respect for our motherland. Enthusiastic displays of Karate and Silambam by the students highlighted the rich heritage of martial traditions, as well as the spirit of courage and self-confidence. Students also delivered patriotic speeches, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and urging the younger generation to contribute positively to society. The programme concluded with a pledge to uphold the values of peace, unity, and patriotism, making the day a memorable one for all.

Mother Terasa School celebrated its grand Investiture Ceremony on 14th August 2025 with great zeal and dignity. The event commenced with a smart and synchronized March Past by the student council and house contingents, showcasing discipline and unity. The highlight of the occasion was the pinning of badges to the newly elected Students’ Council Leaders, symbolizing the trust and responsibility bestowed upon them. The leaders pledged to uphold the values of the school with dedication and sincerity. The Inaugural ceremony of the Kindergarten (KG) was a truly memorable occasion, marking the joyful beginning of our little learners’ educational journey. The event was honored by the presence of the Founder Sir, who graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest, alongside the esteemed Chairman Sir, Registrar, Director, and the Principals of the Mother Teresa Group of Institutions (MTGI).
The day began with a beautiful and energetic dance performance by the I Standard students, which added a delightful touch to the ceremony. Their innocent yet spirited performance captured the hearts of everyone present and symbolized the bright future that awaits these young minds.

As the children stepped into their new phase of learning, they were lovingly welcomed by the Founder Sir, Chairman, Registrar, and the Principals of MTGI. Each one showered their blessings on the little ones, symbolizing a warm embrace into the world of education. The children were presented with garlands, and the air was filled with joy as the blessings of the dignitaries set a positive tone for their educational journey ahead.
In his heartfelt address, the Founder Sir shared words of encouragement, urging both the children and their parents to embrace the spirit of learning and growth. The Director and Principal also expressed their warm thoughts, emphasizing the importance of education in shaping a bright future for the children. Their words were deeply appreciated by the parents, who felt reassured and proud to see such strong support for their children's development.
